Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nanyang Polytechnic
As part of a two-year partnership between Suntec Singapore and Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), selected final-year NYP students pursuing diplomas in Digital Visual Effects, Interaction Design, Digital Game Art & Design, Animation, Motion Graphics & Broadcast Design and Game Development & Technology will have the opportunity to intern with Suntec Singapore and deepen their skillsets in a real-life work setting for three months under a Structured Internship Programme.
Under our mentorship, the students will challenge their content development and creativity to produce festive motion graphic videos for screening on The Big Picture, the world’s largest high-definition video wall which forms an integral part of Suntec Singapore’s façade.
Singapore Polytechnic Learning Journey
Suntec Singapore works together with Singapore Polytechnic’s Integrated Events & Project Management course for an immersion programme that allows students to attend off-site lectures at Suntec Singapore.
The students are given the opportunity to hear from and interact with the Centre's management team on their industry expertise and experience working in various roles within the organisation. Besides lectures, they also get to tour the back-of-house operations of the venue and are given the opportunity to gain hands-on experience at selected events.
Industrial Attachment Opportunities
To enhance and raise the level of competency of lecturers in tertiary institutions, Suntec Singapore regularly accommodates lecturers for industrial attachment programmes where they learn on the job about their area of expertise (e.g. Operations, Venue Management, Food Production) in our Centre's context.
